Asia is the largest continent on Earth, covering an area of about 44.58 million square kilometers. It is home to more than half of the world’s population, with over 4.5 billion people living there.

Is An Intergovernmental Organization For The Development Of Economic And Regional Integration

It is an intergovernmental organization of 10 Southeast Asian countries.

  • Full Form – : Association of Southeast Asian Nations
  • 10 CountriesBrunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam.
  • ASEAN Headquarter – Jakarta

GCC Countries

The GCC Charter states that the basic objectives are to have coordination, integration and inter-connection between Member States in all fields, strengthening ties between their peoples, formulating similar regulations in various fields such as economy, finance, trade, customs, tourism, legislation, administration, as well as fostering scientific and technical progress in industry, mining, agriculture, water and animal resources, establishing scientific research centres, setting up joint ventures, and encouraging cooperation of the private sector.

  • GCC Full Form – : Gulf Cooperation Council
  • 7 Countries – : Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and UAE
  • GCC Headquarter -: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
